What topics should we focus on?

You can choose more than one.

Bullying stops fastest where the line was drawn early - calmly, together, and long before anyone crossed it.

Stop bullying poster for kids hanging on a wall

The poster works because it was there before the storm.

  • Hang it somewhere visible - a spot kids walk past every day
  • Talk about it together during a calm moment, before anything happens
  • When someone gets hurt, point to it calmly - one sentence, no debate

Over time you'll see progress

Children who grow up with a clear, consistent line around hurting others learn that there are better ways to be heard and to belong - and that the grownups around them will always hold that line.

Teaching children to stop bullying - and not to stay silent when they see it - is one of the most important things we do as grownups.

Three steps the poster keeps visible: notice it (name what's happening), say something ("Stop - that's not okay" or tell a trusted adult), and stand with the person being hurt. Doing any one of the three is what turns a bystander into a helper.

It gives them the words in advance. A child who freezes in the moment does far better with a rehearsed line they've already seen and practiced. The poster is that rehearsal, sitting on the wall until it's needed.

Short, low-risk lines work best: "Stop." "Leave them alone." "Come play with us." Or, if it isn't safe to step in, "Let's go tell someone." The goal is to interrupt or report, never to fight back.

Make clear that telling an adult is not tattling - it's the brave, smart move when a situation is unsafe. Practice the safe options together: speak up if you can, walk the target away, or get a grown-up. Their safety always comes first.

Yes, completely free and no sign-up. Print one for the fridge or a whole set for a class working on being upstanders instead of bystanders.
